I recently enjoyed a trip to Framlingham Castle, Suffolk for a medieval joust; there were knights, horses and lots of action! The sun was shining. Great opportunity for some photography.

The day was filled with activities and the knights gave talks on the history, armour, training and horsemanship involved with jousting in the middle ages. There was a living medieval camp with craftsmanship on display. I love history so this was particularly interesting.
The joust tournament was spectacular: the black knight and the red knight were up against each other in a battle for victory.
The horses were lovely and majestic; the knights gave explanations of their training and how they were armoured during battle.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day
Oh and the winner of the battle was…….
